Terms for using OLOBAM

OLOBAM ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Infinite Analytics Nigeria Limited. We are registered in Nigeria with Company Registration Number 2002440. Our registered office address is available upon reasonable request.

“OLOBAM” is the product and brand name of the platform. The phrase “Fashion & Fabrics” is used as a descriptive slogan and branding tagline and does not change or replace the legal identity of the platform, which is referred to as OLOBAM throughout these Terms.

OLOBAM is a marketplace platform focused on fashion, accessories, and fabrics, including connecting people with tailors and enabling discovery and advertising of ready-made and made-to-order products.

By accessing or using OLOBAM, you confirm that you accept these Terms of Use and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use OLOBAM.

We recommend that you save or print a copy of these terms for future reference.

These Terms of Use refer to additional terms that also apply to your use of OLOBAM:

If OLOBAM offers subscription plans, paid features, or other paid services, any plan-specific terms shown at the time of purchase will also apply.

OLOBAM is a marketplace platform that enables users to create listings, discover fashion, accessories, and fabrics, and communicate with each other (including about tailor services).

• We are not the seller, buyer, tailor, or service provider unless we explicitly state otherwise.
• We are not a party to your transactions and do not guarantee listings, pricing, quality, delivery, refunds, or outcomes.
• Use your judgement and verify details before paying, meeting, or engaging any service provider.

OLOBAM may offer free features and paid subscription plans. If you subscribe, you agree to pay the fees shown at the time of purchase and any applicable taxes.

• Subscription pricing and features may change (we will provide notice where required by law).
• App Store / Google Play billing terms may apply if you subscribe through those platforms, and they may control refunds.
• Except where required by law, fees may be non-refundable once a subscription period starts.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use OLOBAM.
• If you are under 18 (a minor), you must have permission from a parent/guardian who supervises your use of OLOBAM.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must keep your login details confidential and must not share your password or access tokens with any third party.

We may disable or suspend an account if, in our reasonable opinion, you have failed to comply with these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or other applicable policies.

OLOBAM may offer free and/or paid subscription plans. Prices and features may change from time to time.

We do not guarantee that OLOBAM, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict access to all or any part of OLOBAM for business, security, or operational reasons.

We may update and change OLOBAM to improve performance, enhance features, reflect platform changes, or address security issues.

OLOBAM may contain information and materials uploaded by users. We do not pre-approve all user content and do not guarantee its accuracy.

• Listings must be accurate, lawful, and comply with our Community Guidelines.
• You may only list items or services you have the legal right to offer.
• Images and descriptions must not be misleading or infringe third-party rights.
• We may remove content or listings that violate policies or pose safety risks.

Whenever you upload content or contact other users, you must comply with our content standards. You warrant that your contributions comply and you agree to indemnify us for losses arising from your breach.

If you wish to report content, request a review, or make a complaint, contact support@olobam.com.

You retain ownership of your content. However, when you upload or post content to OLOBAM, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence to host, store, use, reproduce, modify (for formatting/display), distribute, and display that content in connection with operating and promoting OLOBAM.

You also grant other users a limited licence to view your content through OLOBAM. If you delete your content, these licences end to the extent we can reasonably remove it (for example, copies may remain in backups for a limited time).

OLOBAM may allow users to leave reviews or ratings (for example, of sellers, products, or services).

• Only post reviews based on your genuine, first-hand experience.
• No false, misleading, or defamatory statements, and no hate speech or harassment.
• No paid or incentivised reviews unless clearly disclosed where permitted by law.
• We may remove reviews that breach these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

If you send us ideas, suggestions, feedback, or other materials ("Submissions"), you agree that they are non-confidential and that we may use them to operate, improve, and promote OLOBAM without compensation to you, to the extent permitted by law.

OLOBAM may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. We may correct or update information at any time without notice.

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on OLOBAM infringes your copyright or other IP rights, please email support@olobam.com with:

• your name and contact details;
• a description of the work and the content you believe is infringing (include URLs or screenshots if possible);
• an explanation of why you believe it infringes your rights; and
• a statement that the information you provide is accurate.

We may remove or restrict access to content while we review complaints. If you believe content was removed in error, you may contact us to request a review.

By using OLOBAM, you agree to receive communications electronically (for example, in-app, email, or website notices). You agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirements for communications to be in writing, to the extent permitted by law.

Messaging tools are provided to help users communicate about listings and services.

• No harassment, hate speech, threats, or discriminatory conduct.
• No spam, scams, phishing, or requests for sensitive information (e.g., bank passwords).
• No illegal activity or coordination of prohibited transactions.
• Do not send payment links that are suspicious or attempt to move users into unsafe payment flows.

• Illegal activity, fraud, deception, or impersonation
• Harassment, hate speech, or threats
• Posting prohibited or restricted items
• Attempting to bypass moderation or enforcement actions
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to access source code
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to OLOBAM systems or accounts
• Text/data mining, scraping, or harvesting content or data from OLOBAM without written permission
• Uploading malware or attempting to disrupt, overload, or compromise the security of OLOBAM

You must not conduct, facilitate, authorise, or permit any text or data mining or web scraping in relation to OLOBAM or any services provided via OLOBAM, including using any automated tools (bots, scrapers, spiders, crawlers) to access, copy, monitor, or republish any portion of the platform or its data.

This clause does not apply to the extent that we cannot exclude or limit such activity by contract under applicable law.

Content on OLOBAM is provided for general information only and is not professional advice.

Where users offer professional or specialist services (including tailoring), you are responsible for checking profiles, ratings, reviews, and suitability before engaging them.

OLOBAM may contain links to other websites or resources provided by third parties. These links are provided for your information only and do not mean we approve those sites.

We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources.

If you access third-party websites, apps, or services, you do so at your own risk and should review their terms and policies.

We are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in OLOBAM and the material published on it. These works are protected by copyright laws and treaties. All rights are reserved.

You must not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written approval. “Fashion & Fabric” and OLOBAM marks and logos are trademarks of Infinite Analytics Nigeria Limited.

We do not guarantee that OLOBAM will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your device and using virus protection software.

You must not misuse OLOBAM by knowingly introducing malicious material or attempting unauthorised access. We may report suspected offences to law enforcement.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

Enforcement actions may include content removal, warnings, temporary restrictions, permanent bans, and reporting to relevant authorities where appropriate.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business interruption, or business opportunity.

OLOBAM is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Use of OLOBAM is at your own risk. We do not accept responsibility for user listings, user conduct, or disputes between users, except where we are legally required to.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Infinite Analytics Nigeria Limited, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your content, your use of OLOBAM, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first at support@olobam.com so we can try to resolve it informally.

If informal resolution is not successful, disputes may be referred to arbitration or another dispute resolution process in Nigeria, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

These Terms, their subject matter, and their formation are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Subject to any mandatory consumer protections, you agree that the courts of Nigeria will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, best practice, or features. Continued use of OLOBAM after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
